About Me:

Education & Training

With a deep passion and love for Africa’s cultural potential, Simon founded Cheza from an idea and intrigue he got at the age of 16. While he has a background in Information Technology, Simon Peter Tumukunde has led Cheza’s efforts together with like-minded youth over the years. A champion for traditional sports development, Simon has appeared on local and international media, sharing the Cheza Vision and advocating for traditional African sports, notably, Kwepena He’s a Rising Star Awards winner, was a finalist for the Young Achievers Award, and was notably hosted by the President of Uganda among Uganda’s top youth innovators.
