Education & Training

Maurice steers Cheza towards its vision through strategic leadership, policy development, diplomatic relationships
and financial oversight. His experience includes legislative roles at Uganda’s Parliament and regional forums. He holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from Uganda Christian University and a Post-Graduate Degree in AI from UT Austin.
His achievements in law include being twice National Champion in the White & Case Jessup Moot Court Competition in Washington D.C, Best Oral Presenter at the National Rounds, and part of the Best African Team internationally. An advocate of the High Court and Member of the Uganda Law Society, Maurice is also a Huduma Fellow of the Leo Africa Institute and the Konrad-Adenaeur-Stiftung Foundation.
