Creative Talks Africa

In partnership with KQ Hub Africa, The Creative Talks Africa platform is a collaborative series of intercultural dialogues. A
monthly event series with a goal of bringing together influential and innovative East African based creative minds to give talks that are idea-focused, and on a wide range of subjects, to foster learning, inspiration, networking and promote inter-cultural dialogue on conversations that matter

A platform for creative exchange

Creative Talks Africa brings people together around ideas, experiences and questions that matter to East African creative communities. Cheza’s partnership with KQ Hub Africa connects this dialogue with its wider interest in culture, innovation and community participation.

Learning across disciplines

The platform’s idea-focused talks create room for different creative perspectives. Its purpose is to support learning and networking while encouraging exchange across cultural backgrounds and areas of practice.

Why this belongs in Cheza’s work

Developing traditional African sport involves more than organising games. Cultural knowledge, storytelling, design and creative collaboration can contribute to how heritage is understood and shared. Dialogue provides a space to explore those connections.
